Welcome to Cruos, a dedicated creative practice committed to making complex topics simple, engaging, and visually stunning. Whether training users on complex enterprise software or colourising a century-old family photo, our mission remains identical: deliver absolute clarity.
Cruos was founded by a senior instructional architect with over 30 years of experience in blended learning systems, technical animations, and digital design. We believe that learning shouldn't be a passive lecture, but an interactive, visually-rich experience.
Our team merges traditional graphic design theory with cutting-edge artificial intelligence, helping companies create distinct training media and preserve legacy assets for the digital age for all.
Our Creative Timeline
1993 – Foundations
Working for both private and public sector organisations, trained long term unemployed individuals and returners to work in Microsft products.
These training programmes were NVQ in nature and required balancing multiple students to give them the attention they needed in both learning and assessment.
1998 – Learning Solutions and Process Engineering
While working at Rolls-Royce Aero Group, developed extensive learning programmes for three key business applications (SAP, PDM, Documentum) for manufacturing engineers globally. Worked as the training lead on the SPEDE project refining company wide processes.
This is also the time when the photo restoration work started, with the restoration of a family photo from the 1950s. Also the use of PhotoShop to develop instructional content and web site graphics was introduced for both internal and external projects. One of which was a website that had an audience of over 100k unique visitors per month at its peak in the early 2000s.
2006 – Enterprise Blended Learning
Expanded into enterprise business system for the construction industry for clients using the Union Square Workspace applicetion (Deltek PIM). Making extensive changes to the training processes, solutions walk-throughs and instructional corporate process dissemination videos.
Blended Learning solutions included face-to-face training, e-learning, development of a bespoke LMS (used by over 390k users globally) with a comprehensive library of training media and regular webinars on topics from starters to devlopers from all over the world.
Present – UI, Walkthrough Videos and Restorations
Working with the team at EDSC (edsc.info) on their new UI and a whole range of instructional video content for their users.
The restoration of photos continues and is a rewarding part of the business as we get to preserve and enhance historical images for the families to enjoy.
